JFA stood for Junior Farmers Association. This was a group going to the MFA convention in Columbia about 1950-51.

This is a group of people from the Weaubleau area going to the 1953 farmers' convention in Columbia.

Left to right: George Boone, Hubert Gumm, Keith Carlton. Date uncertain.

Keith Carlton was manager of the MFA Exchange in Weaubleau from about 1943 until 1954. George Boone used to walk from his house about four miles north of town on 54 to work every day. Hubert started working for Mr. Carlton while in high school and later became manager of the MFA.
