When requesting lookups you must follow the guidelines or your request will not be honored. In the subject line put Hickory Co MO Lookup as some volunteers help in more than one state or county. In the message, state the name and the source you want your lookup in. Do not ask for "whatever you can find". Do not ask for more than one name in one source such as all the "Smiths". If asking for a census lookup, specify which year. Please thank the volunteer for their help. To avoid copyright violations, please do not the volunteer to make copies. If a source has more than a minimal lookup, you might consider purchasing the particular source or use interlibrary loan through your local library to view it yourself. If you have a Hickory County book or record set and would like to volunteer to do lookups, your help would be appreciated. Please email Ginny to offer your services or report a non-functioning link.
